Social Engineering Scams
Privacy notice
A plain-language description of the launch site’s data handling.
Reading the site
You can read articles without creating an account. This theme does not add advertising trackers, a mailing-list signup, social-media embeds or analytics scripts. Fonts and editorial images are served from this website rather than loaded from a third-party font service. Hosting and security components may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, user agents and error logs to deliver and protect the site.
Editorial messages
If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you enter are sent to the site administrator through the site’s mail system. They are used to address your question or correction, not automatically to subscribe you to marketing. The form does not accept attachments. Delivery through the mail system is not a guarantee that a message reaches an inbox.
The form uses a request-verification token, a hidden spam field and a short-lived hashed request identifier for rate limiting. Messages may remain in the recipient’s mailbox while the correspondence is relevant; this site does not promise a fixed deletion date that the mailbox administrator has not established. Avoid sending sensitive personal information.
Cookies and external links
WordPress login and administration use operational cookies. Ordinary reading does not require a visitor account. Links to sources, reporting agencies and other sites take you to services with their own privacy practices. This publication does not control those services or receive the contents of a report you submit to them.
Questions and requests
You can ask about a message you submitted, or request its correction or removal, through contact. Include enough context to locate the correspondence but do not send identity documents. Any legal rights depend on your location and applicable law. This notice describes the current implementation and should be revised if analytics, advertising or subscriptions are added.
